Double the Love

I worked with Mike for just over 4 years and was filled with joy when he and Maryanne announced they were expecting twins. Alex and Adelaide were born 28.3.2011 to very excited and loving parents. This past weekend was a chance to get some family shots, these little ones are adorable. The Packett family I am sure are complete with their "pigeon pair".

Baby Shower

Rachel has some serious style and with the help of a very talented sister who arranged some wonderful flowers! The house and garden looked liked something out of Vogue living on this gorgeous Sunday afternoon as a great group of girls descended upon the house. Lots of sweets and chatter as we celebrated the impending arrival of "baby Taylor"..

Middle Eastern Adventure..

On Boxing Day 2010 I left for Abu Dhabi to visit an old friend and go on an adventure. I was spoilt rotten by the family and the locations that we went to. I don't think words can describe what amazing places the UAE,  Jordan and Egypt are, so I am hoping this quick video of images will give you a glimpse into another world.

Thanks to my great friends, Renee, Scott and Matt, I miss you most of all! xx

Mark and Tanya - Married

Mark and Tanya were married in Cape Town last weekend only to fly back to Sydney for a commitment ceremony the week after. That is what I call commitment to your friends and family. What a show of love and celebration the second service was.

We all had a great day and you will see that this couple are super chilled, walking through bushes to get to an abandoned warehouse for photos was no problem at all. Their love shines through and I was so grateful to be part of this special day.

There is so much more to write but as this is the last wedding of the year I thought I would talk less and give you more photos. Enjoy!

The Family

When my sister asked me to take photos of my nieces and nephews for Christmas I jumped at the chance. A stunning family of photogenic children, who wouldn't? Oh they are cute, but I am bias of course.  Well, the catch is that they are not the most amiable in front of a lens, for some unknown reason they are not like the rest of their generation and don't get into it..at all..unless they are pulling faces and crack themselves up. Needless to say, this is not what the family want on the wall for years to come.

Prior to the shoot we had a lovely Christmas lunch at the Hyatt. Kids well fed, tick...but the kicker was bribing the poor babies with no Christmas presents unless they comply with photographer and take some nice shots (of course this was not my bribe, my sister) I was slightly compassionate to their plight and promised to make it quick and painless....

Crazy Kids...
Now children, didn't anyone tell you if the wind changed you would be in trouble?
Best part is they did this by themselves...lol
